| Fachliche Grundlage | As the German National Data Centre for the CTBT, BGR archives waveform data of IMS infrasound arrays and produces infrasound detection lists using the Progressive Multi-Channel Correlation (PMCC) algorithm. For more than a decade of rocket launches for space missions, an automatic procedure was established for identifying PMCC detections that are potentially associated with a rocket launch. Additional quality parameters were introduced to classify the infrasonic signatures, as described in detail by Pilger et al. (2021). |
